Kyōko (響子) is Sakamoto's pet cat.
Biography[]
Sakamoto named her after his favorite star Kyoko Mano, and he tricks Godai into promising to take care of her while he goes out of town, by getting him drunk during a party and using her name being the same as the one he is in love with to make him agree. Since no animals are allowed in the pension, he sneaks the kitten in and tries to hide from everyone, although it doesn't last. She quickly becomes attached to Godai and comes upon Sōichirō who lets her sleep next to him in his house, much to everyone's amusement.
Trivia[]
- In the anime, Sakamoto named her after the manager whom he claims to be a big fan of.
- In chapter 107, she is seen with kittens.
