McEnroe is Shun Mitaka's Pomeranian pet dog. He bought the dog so he can overcome his fear of dogs. McEnroe is named after legendary professional tennis player John McEnroe. It has a sparkling fang, like its Master. He's the reason Shun marries Asuna - following the misunderstanding that Asuna is pregnant, while in fact Salad (Asuna's own pomeranian) is.
