Sayoko Kuroki (黒木 小夜子, Kuroki Sayoko) is a member of the Puppet Club in Godai's college.
Biography[]
While Yūsaku was attending his first year of college, Sayoko had been observing him and got him to join the Puppet Theater Club who were in need of a new recruit as they were preparing for the School festival.
She would then become a Pre-School teacher at Acorn Pre-School and allowed Yūsaku to get a part-time job there, which allowed him to find something he’s good at and prompted him to become a Pre-School teacher.[1]
She marries Saotome, the Puppet Theater Club President who also became a Pre-School Teacher and both perform a puppet play to commemorate Godai and Kyoko’s wedding.[2]

- Her name Sayoko means "small" (小, sa), "night" (夜, yo) and "child" (子, ko), and her surname Kuroki means "black" (黒, kuro) and "tree, wood" (木, ki).
- For unknown reasons, she doesn't appear as a Pre-School teacher in the anime and is replaced by Kozue Nanao as the one who allows Godai to get a part-time job at a Pre-School.
